The State Center Consortium (SCC) has provided products, training and technical assistance to sites throughout California. This has aided the development of systems reflecting the major priorities of the Carl Perkins Act and elements of the School-to-Career initiative. The Consortium's efforts have resulted in a series of handbooks and other documents, which were written and disseminated to provide information and examples describing the major elements of a comprehensive career preparation and workforce development system.
